These premises comprises large Grade II* listed property forming a residential care home and residential flats. The earliest parts of the structure date back to 1380. We have been heavily involved with a continual programme of alterations, upgrading, repairs and refurbishment since 2001 to improve and enhance the facilities that are provided for residents and staff. This frequently requires a careful balance between conserving special elements of historic or architectural interest with the operational requirements of the residential care home.
We carried out a comprehensive building inspection and prepared a planned maintenance report providing budget costs for routine maintenance and repairs over 15 years for a multi-functional building providing community facilities, primarily for older vulnerable people, located close to the seafront in Brighton.
