Theatre on the south coast
We were instructed by a local authority, who are the landlord of a large 1970’s theatre in a seafront location, to carry out a survey to produce a planned maintenance programme to enable long-term budget forecasting.
Day Centre on the south coast
The landlord of a 1980’s purpose-built day-centre instructed us to carry out a survey to produce a planned maintenance programme to enable long-term budget forecasting for a prospective long-term tenant. Working alongside the in-house structural engineer we identified significant structural cracking of the first floor reinforced concrete floor in addition to various other minor defects.
Steel framed commercial building
The prospective tenant instructed us to carry out an inspection and to prepare a condition report of this 750m steel framed building before committing to a long lease.

Homeless charity
We were approached by a local charity for the homeless to assist with their search for a building that was suitable for use as a hostel. Following inspection and research of the properties available we produced a feasibility study, which highlighted one building that stood out as the most appropriate property. A pre-acquisition survey was carried out and, once purchased, a significant scheme of refurbishment and extension was implemented.
