Kevin qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 1989. His thirty year career since then has seen him working for small and medium sized consultancies, as an in-house surveyor for Goodwood Estate, for a contractor and as a sole practitioner.

As a result of these various employers his breadth of experience is extensive. His most memorable projects include works on the Theatre Royal in Windsor, surveying air-side buildings at Gatwick and Heathrow airports, consultancy for the 24-storey Sussex Heights in Brighton and involvement in the parade ring redevelopment project at Goodwood Racecourse as well as day-to-day maintenance of the Goodwood Estate of historical buildings.

Kevin and Phil merged their practices in 2015 to create Sloane Brown Ltd. and the company has thrived since then. Kevin specialises in the surveying aspects of the business, and he has a particular interest in party wall matters, being an active member of the Sussex branch of the Pyramus and Thisbe Club.
 

When Kevin is not working you will most likely find him with his family exploring the hills and coastline of Devon in his hiking boots or trying to put his knowledge into practice with DIY projects.
