Residential extensions, alterations, refurbishment and remodeling form a mainstay of our business and we have worked on numerous schemes ranging from minor alterations through to significant extensions. We work closely with each client to help realize the true potential of their brief whilst also being realistic about limitations. Schemes include forming additional space, better utilization of existing space, general updating and modernization, improving access and enhancing living conditions.
Detached house in Midhurst
This project is located close to a town centre in the heart of the South Downs National Park and comprised the extension and remodeling of a detached house which had been built in the 1950s. The property was in need of significant refreshing and the resultant scheme updated and transformed the appearance and ambiance of the entire property.
Detached house near Bognor Regis
This detached property is located on an exclusive coastal private estate and the work comprised the design of a two storey extension together with associated internal alterations to provide a large open-plan living space together with new garaging, study and utility room. The style and appearance of the extension entirely complements the scale and appearance of the host property.
Semi-detached house in Kensington
This project, which is located in Kensington, comprised lowering the existing lower ground floor, the construction a full length rear extension, various internal and external alterations,complete internal refurbishment, and the leveling of the front garden to improve the parking arrangements. The resultant property forms a comfortable family house with five bedrooms with a gross internal floor area of 318m2, spread over three floors.
Detached traditional house in the South Downs National Park
Our clients purchased this dilapidated historic property in a rural location in the heart of the South Downs National Park. The premises had been used as two separate residential units for a considerable period of time and was in need of significant investment. We helped the client to realize their vision of creating a spectacular family house of over 430m2 spread over four floors through a comprehensive program me of appropriate alteration and remodeling. Original historic features were retained and inappropriate work that had previously been carried out was removed.
Detached modern house west of Horsham
Our client instructed us to prepare design proposals for a new below-ground swimming pool as an addition to an existing, modern farmhouse. The property is located in a highly visible hilltop location and it was important for the new swimming pool to be discrete and unobtrusive. A successful design solution was adopted and planning consent was obtained.
